Youth-responsive health information is one of the strongest foundations for confidence, dignity and protection. Through community engagement, mentorship, awareness campaigns and safe conversations, GIFOT supports adolescent girls, young women, boys and young men to better understand their health, rights and choices.
Many young people still face barriers when accessing trusted information and services. Fear, stigma, misinformation and lack of supportive environments often prevent them from seeking help or asking questions openly.
GIFOT works with communities, schools and partners to create spaces where young people feel safe, respected and heard. By increasing awareness around sexual and reproductive health, HIV prevention, dignity and protection, we help young people make informed decisions for their futures.
We believe that access to accurate information is not a privilege — it is a right. When girls and young people are informed and supported, they are more likely to remain in school, participate confidently in community life and avoid harmful situations.
Our work also focuses on strengthening local systems that improve equitable access to services at community, regional and national levels. Sustainable impact happens when communities themselves become part of the solution.
Through awareness, dialogue, mentorship and collaboration, GIFOT continues to promote healthier, safer and more hopeful futures for young people across communities.
